EPIC Masjid - A Social and Religious Hub of East Plano
EPIC Masjid, developed by MadinaAPPS, is an Android application that caters to the religious, educational, and social needs of the Muslim communities residing in East Plano, Murphy, Sachse, Wylie, and East Richardson. The app's vision is to establish itself as a vibrant Islamic center that significantly improves the sense of unity in the community and contributes to society at large through outreach and social services.
EPIC Masjid provides five daily, Friday, Ramadan, and EID prayer services, along with other programs and services for the benefit of the larger DFW community. Some of the notable services include free medical clinics, financial assistance to the needy, Sadaqa and Zakat distribution, summer/sunday school, Quran learning classes for kids, Hifz school, weekly educational lectures/Halaqas, seminars/conferences, mosque open houses, Islam 101 classes for people from other faiths, and new Muslim outreach. The app is compatible with Android 13.0 and is available for free.
